This website details the
project of developing my first robot, named "Isaac". The aims of the
project are to develop a robot that will meet the following
requirements:
 | Must be able to travel over uneven terrain, such
as clothes, shoes and other items lying around my house. It must also be able to go up and down a 5cm
vertical drop. |
| It must not throw itself over the edge of drops
that will "kill" it (e.g. drive off the edge of a
table). |
| Be able to map the environment it is in (maybe
using some kind of rotating sonar device). |
| Be "afraid" of the heat (I don't want
it stopping next to one of our gas heaters). |
| It must not scare my cat. |
